In the field of nonprofit capacity building, technical assistance (TA) means working directly with nonprofit consultants and/or trainers, including ONEplace staff, for a confidential assessment of currently functioning areas and recommendations for actions to improve your nonprofit organization’s (NPO) ability to carry out your mission-driven work.

TA is a customized “diagnose and prescription” process that starts where your NPO is, now, and gives you tools to work toward stronger infrastructure, greater capacity, and improved outcomes. ONEplace can help you:

- Determine your nonprofit’s lifecycle stage and learn what can be expected at each stage: start-up, growth, mature, decline, terminal
- Determine how well your NPO is operating, day-to-day, and the challenges you face in meeting your goals
