Lisa Godfrey is serving her fifth term as a trustee after
having been appointed to the provisional board when Kalamazoo Public Library
first became a district library.
Lisa has served the KPL board in multiple terms as board president as well as chair
of the Building Committee which guided the $18.9 million capital Improvement
project from 1995-1998 resulting in the renovation of Central Library and two branches
and the construction of two new branch library buildings. She has served KPL on
virtually all of the board committees and currently chairs the Fund Development
and Allocation Committee.
She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kalamazoo College, Master of Library Science
and Master of Arts in Education degrees from Western Michigan University and a Juris Doctor
degree from DePaul College of Law. Lisa is an attorney
in private practice in Kalamazoo.
