The Great American Read

Join us while we celebrate PBS’s Great American Read.

The Great American Read is an 8-part PBS series that explores the power of reading through the lens of 100 books. It looks at writers and readers, and what our favorite books say about our country. The series asks celebrities, authors, notable Americans, and book lovers to give their own testimonials about the impact of reading and writing. You can watch the first episode here, and the next 7 will premier in the fall.
