We are looking for someone to become our new Associate Bookstore Manager. This will be a part time (20 hour/week) position. Here’s our check list for some of the qualities we think would make a great manager:
- Loves books and enjoys people
- Keeps up with timely topics
- Interested in what others are reading
- Team player but willing to make decisions
- Good organizational skills
- Can be interrupted and keep smiling

This Saturday (July 1) all DVDs normally priced at $2.50 and all audio books on CD (normally $2.00) will be on sale for $1.00 each! We're putting out extra carts of DVDs and lots of refills for audio books, so the selection will be great!

Did you know there is a National Train Day? This year it was May 13th. Train Day was launched by Amtrak in 2008 to celebrate the May 1869 completion of the country's transcontinental railroad. Many people are fascinated by trains and in addition to riding them they like to read about them. If you're one of those people you'll be happy to hear that we just recently received a very nice collection of books about trains. Come check them out!

Often these stories are read by parents or grandparents and lessons are imparted while talking about the story.
