Be Creative @ Your Library
Pick up your summer reading gamecard to track your reading. Read anything with pages. Color in the dates that you read for 20 minutes or more. Every ten days that you read, you'll earn a prize! Sign up early so you have plenty of time to earn all the prizes.
Let other readers know what you loved (or didn't love) about a book. We'll post your review on the KPL website (with a parent's permission). If you want, we'll even help you record an audio version of your review! Be creative!
Babies and toddlers need books, too! Read to Me is designed for kids from birth through Kindergarten. Read to your baby bug anywhere, anytime and visit the library often. Every time your children visit the library throughout the summer and report the number of books they shared, they earn a sticker.
Each child who plays Read to Me will receive a book in August.
