  • “intermediate” appellate court between the Supreme Court and Michigan trial courts
  • Accepts appeals from circuit or probate court hearings
  • Hearings are held before a panel of three judges and at least two of
    the three must agree
  • Decision of the panel is final except for those which the Supreme Court reviews
