Top Critics: 20 Best Films of 2013

In case you needed one last, post-Oscars list to use for upcoming checkout's. According to a survey of the editors and contributors of Film Comment magazine, these are the Top 20 films of 2013. Some have been released on DVD and others have yet to hit the shelves.

I've heard some grumblings from critics that I quite respect who assert that Fruitvale Station wasn't given the recognition it was due. It wouldn't make the very top of my list for recent releases, but it's disappointing when such well executed and pertinent films like this are overlooked.

This is an interesting list. Six of them already in my my list for renting via nexflix...if I find them.
