Weezer once again proves they know what makes good music. Each song on this album has a different feel and each will stay with you (to your delight)! "The Greatest Man That Ever Lived (Variations on a Shaker Hymn)" showcases the melodic talents of the group, while fans of the older tunes will love the rhythms of "Pork and Beans" and "Troublemaker."

The blue album is one of the best summer music experiences you'll find if you want to locate that album that shines like the July sun (due in large part to Rick Ocasek's flawless production). While couched within the framework of angsty whining and lead singer Rivers Cuomo's self indulgences, Pinkerton's solipsistic tendencies and pessemistic tone still packs a playful punch for those who enjoy a bit of melodrama in their power pop.
This album is so good. I love it.
