Don’t tab out when Kalamazoo Beer Week ends on January 19! KPL has brewed another limited-edition release of Overdue Brew, a series of events highlighting Kalamazoo’s vibrant brewing culture! 

Registration for programs will open 2 weeks prior to each program.

2019 Overdue Brew Events: January 19 – February 23

All Overdue Brew programs are free and open to the public. Seating is limited and registration is required. You must be 21 or older to attend.

Saturday, January 19, Two tours: 11 am & 2 pm, Boatyard Brewing Co. (432 E Paterson St)

History of Brewing in Kalamazoo Bus Tour Sorry, both tours are full

Tour 1: 11 am (check-in),  11:30 am - 1:15 pm tour
Tour 2: 2 pm (check-in), 2:30 pm - 4:15 pm tour

Seating is limited; registration is required

Join us on a bus tour with West Michigan Beer Tours and learn about our city’s illustrious beer brewing history. Tours begin and end at Boatyard Brewing Co. (432 E Paterson St). Enjoy a complimentary pint and visit some of the sites where Kalamazoo’s brewing history began nearly two hundred years ago. A tour of Boatyard’s brewery will immediately follow each tour. Craft beer belongs at the table, right along with creatively crafted cocktails and wine. Bring beer into the kitchen and impress your friends at your next dinner party with your craft brew knowledge. At this popular Overdue Brew program, home cooks and food enthusiasts will learn about pairing food with craft beer and what brews compliment certain foods. Join Chef Cory Barrett, culinary instructor at Kalamazoo Valley Community College, and Brewery Operations Manager/Brewer Jeff Sobolewski, for a cooking demonstration utilizing… beer of course. We will prepare and taste different fun and tasty beer centered appetizers. We will also discuss beer pairing for each of the appetizer and welcome questions about cooking with beer!
