Apocalypse Now Redux (1979)
Digitally remastered with 49 minutes of previously unseen footage, Apocalypse Now Redux is the reference standard of Francis Coppola's 1979 epic. Based on Joseph Conrad's Heart Of Darkness, this is a controversial addition to the multitude of Vietnam war movies in existence.

A Community Access screening of a 43 minute filmed talk by Phan Thi Kim Phuc, the Canadian/Vietnamese woman whose picture, as a 9-year-old, was seen across the world as she ran down a road screaming in pain away from her napalmed village.  She tells her story (at a local church service) which is also illustrated with film and still pictures from the war era and her specific "moment."
