Autism and Other Ways of Knowing
Over four sessions, we will broaden and deepen our picture of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) through reading texts by and about those on the spectrum: Temple Grandin, Clara Parks, Judy and Paul Karasik, and Mark Haddon. We’ll begin the first session with Grandin’s Emergence. Books are available at the Kalamazoo College Bookstore and Kazoo Books. Led by Bruce Mills, English professor at Kalamazoo College and autism advocate. Registration and $52 fee required; call 337-7354.
