The government of Japan awarded Dr. Gluck the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon, in 2006. She received the Japan-United States Fulbright Program’s 50th Anniversary Distinguished Scholar Award in 2002. Columbia University Press will publish her forthcoming book from Past Obsessions: World War Two in History and Memory.
