Traveling Exhibition & Closing Reception
This traveling exhibition (February 5 - 20) features two- and three-dimensional artwork created by children in Shiga Prefecture, Michigan’s sister state. 17 paintings (65cm x 50cm), 11 ceramic works (30cm x 30cm), 11 photo panels of children and 5 posters of scenes from Shiga.
Demonstration of Japanese Culture
See demonstrations of Japanese culture including calligraphy, origami, storytelling, Japanese food and music by students of Suzuki Academy of Kalamazoo, at this closing reception.
Presented in collaboration with the Shiga Prefecture Government of Japan and the Soga Japan Center of Western Michigan University.
