I live in Schoolcraft with Paul, my husband of 38 years. We have three grown children who live in Chicago, Detroit and Charleston, SC. We have one young grandson. I was an elementary teacher for 32 years, retiring in 2004. Nowadays I spend my time reading, quilting and volunteering with Ready To Read, the Kalamazoo Humane Society and Healing the Children.
Over the last four years, as a Ready To Read volunteer, I have gotten to do one of my favorite activities--sharing books with children. This brings me great joy! I look forward to my weekly reading with the children at KCMS. It is a blessing to be a volunteer in this very worthwhile program.
