If you want to get those final points to finish a square, but don't want to read an uber-complicated book, then Ever is the book for you. It is an adventure-love story about Olus, God of the Winds, and Kezi, a mortal girl who beleives in Admat, a false God. But in order to save his wife, Kezi's papa (pado) makes a deal with Admat. The first to marvel at his wife's good health will be sacrificed to Admat. Then one day Kezi's aunt Fedo came, and would have been sacrificed if Kezi hadn't said, "What good health mati (Mom) has!!" Now can Olus and Kezi complete the test to become immortal before Kezi must be cut by the preist's blade? Or will they not be able to resist temptation and fail? Find out in Gail Carson Levine's new book, Ever!
