Vine Area Historic District

Description

The Vine Area Historic District was added to the National Register of Historic Places on 16 August 1983. The district is roughly bounded by S. Rose, S. Westnedge, W. Walnut and Ranney Streets. Covering 333 acres, the district contains 171 buildings

In addition to being listed as a national historic district, the Vine Area also enjoys local historic district status. The national district is centered within the local district which is considerably larger, roughly bounded by Davis, Cedar, Burdick and Pioneer Streets.
