Kalamazoo: Then and Now


 East Hall, Western Michigan University, East Campus, 1969

 

Constructed between 1905 and 1909, East Hall is WMU's oldest building. Built to serve as the primary structure for Western State Normal School, East Hall has served numerous uses of the years.

Currently home to the WMU Regional Archives, East Hall has recently been slated for an ambitious adaptive reuse project which will preserve the core of the building (pictured) for use as an Alumni Center.
